Havana, Dec 16 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez considered fruitful the discussions at the Ministerial Conference of the Group of 77 plus China that ended in New York, United States.

In his Twitter account, the foreign minister said that during the meeting priority issues for the Group's members were addressed, such as climate finance, trade, and the mobilization of resources for the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Particular attention was paid to Africa and countries in special situations, Rodriguez added on the social network.

During the meeting, representatives of the bloc's member states stressed the need for immediate and long-term actions for developing countries to recover from the current multiple crises and achieve the SDGs in the remaining decade of action.

The Ministerial Conference’s final document reaffirms the rejection of the imposition of laws and regulations with extraterritorial impact and other forms of coercive measures, including unilateral sanctions against developing countries, and calls for their immediate elimination (Source: Prensa Latina).
