International Conference for World Balance

New Delhi, January 11 (RHC) The president of the jury of the Unesco José Martí International Prize, Ramit Singh Chimni, highlighted in India, the V International Conference for the Balance of the World, to be held from January 24 to 28 in Cuba.

 

The meeting will be the culmination of the International Day in honor of the 170th anniversary of the birth of Cuba's National Hero, José Martí, to be held on January 28, with the participation of academics, intellectuals, artists, social and religious activists, representatives of political parties and governments from all over the world.

 

Chimni, the founder of the Eight Goals One Foundation, attended at the Havana Embassy in New Delhi an evening of homage for the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, the 170th anniversary of José Martí's birth, and the 63rd anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Cuba.

 

During the ceremony, the ambassador of the Caribbean country, Alejandro Simancas, acknowledged Ramit's work dedicated to promoting the thought, life, and work of the Apostle of Cuban independence, José Martí, as well as the bonds of friendship and solidarity that unite both peoples.

 

The meeting held at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters was attended by the former Deputy Prime Minister of Slovenia and former European Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bluc, and the Ambassador of Guatemala in India, Omar Castañeda Solares.

 

Also present were academics, intellectuals, professors, students and Indian social activists, and other Latin American diplomats accredited in New Delhi. (Source: PL)
