Argentine Association of Graduates in Cuba

Buenos Aires, Jan 11 (RHC) The Argentine Association of Graduates in Cuba said Tuesday that the 1959 revolutionary triumph in our country marked a milestone in the emancipation of Latin America.

In a message addressed to the people and Cuban government, the organization affirmed that the process led by Fidel Castro (1926-2016) gave a clear sign of self-determination and sovereignty.

Those who studied in Cuban universities were witnesses and victims of the tragic consequences of the inhuman and genocidal blockade imposed by the United States on the Caribbean Island, which prevents the full development of its economic capacities and threatens the welfare of its population. That violent and anachronistic measure must end, the text points out.

We also know the daily resistance of that heroic person who knew how to synthesize and unify their struggles throughout history. After 64 years of triumphant Revolution, it continues - led by President Miguel Díaz-Canel - determined to follow its path, it adds.

The members of the Group indicated that they feel Cuba was their own and assured they “are ready to defend it at any cost". (Source: Prensa Latina).
