Cuba published the list of candidates for Parliament

 

Havana, Feb 7 (RHC) The list of the 470 candidates for deputies who will make up the 10th Legislature of the National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament) has already been published throughout the Cuban national territory.

 

The next Legislature will be made up of 221 grassroots delegates (47.02 percent), 135 provincial delegates (28.7 percent), and 114 national delegates (24.2 percent).

 

Since Monday, the candidates have been exchanging with residents in communities, labor, and student groups of the municipalities they represent so that voters may get to know their possible representatives.

 

In addition, their photos and biographies will be published in central spots of the localities.

 

On March 26, Cubans will go to the polls to elect the parliamentarians of the X Legislature, the first with the new Constitution of the Republic, approved in 2019.
