Havana, Mar 14 (RHC) Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment (Mincex) Rodrigo Malmierca highlighted Tuesday in New Delhi the business opportunities for Indian and Cuban companies, with emphasis on the renewable energy sector, agriculture, and the Business Group of the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries of Cuba (BioCubaFarma).

The head of state presided over the business forum on the Island in the context of the 2023 Partnership Summit, where he highlighted the friendly environment that the country has developed for investors and the business opportunities for companies in the areas of trade and investment.

As part of the meeting, representatives of BioCubaFarma and Unión Eléctrica presented the main possibilities offered by Cuba for companies from that Asian nation.

During the event, it was learned that Invest India, the National Agency for Investment Promotion and Facilitation, will collaborate with Pro Cuba, an entity attached to the Mincex in capacity building and promotion of trade and business between the two countries.

Under the slogan 'Alliances for responsible, accelerated, innovative, sustainable and equitable business', the 28th edition of the Association Summit will be extended until tomorrow Wednesday, to promote the agenda of strengthening partnerships and shaping new economic collaborations between countries and companies.
