La Paz, August 28 (RHC) -– Cuban Communist leader Jose Ramon Balaguer said at the Sao Paulo Forum, underway in Bolivia, that all revolutionaries in Latin America must support Venezuela amid current destabilization attempts by U.S. imperialism and local right-wing circles.

Balaquer, who heads the International Relations Department of the Cuban Communist Party's Central Committee, recalled passages of the Venezuelan and Bolivarian Revolution headed by its leader Hugo Chavez.

The Cuban leader said that Venezuela is now facing a non-conventional war aimed at encouraging a spiral of violence towards a civil war and for this they try to destabilize the country through economic war by attacking production processes, and financial mechanisms.

He also denounced the manipulation of the country's reality by media monopolies, which hide the unquestionable advances of the revolution and try to denigrate the Bolivarian leaders, who defend the principles of their revolution and socialism, he stressed.

In his remarks at the forum at the Chuquiaqo Marka exhibition grounds, Balaguer said that “only solidarity and unity of revolutionaries of this continent will be able to lead us towards victory, towards total independence."
