The parade, led by president Miguel Díaz-Canel, was called by the Union of Young Communist in solidarity with the Palestinian people

Havana, Nov 23 (RHC) The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, this Thursday led a parade in Havana, in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The parade, called by the Union of Young Communists of Cuba, was also attended by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero and the Secretary of Organization of the Cuban Communist Party, Roberto Morales.

Cuba advocates for a broad, fair and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, based on the creation of two States, which allows the Palestinian people to exercise the right to self-determination and to have an independent and sovereign State, in the pre-1967 borders.

In a recent meeting with young Palestinians studying on the island, Díaz-Canel ratified his country's support for Palestine and condemned Israel's genocide in the strongest terms. (Source: PL)
