Cuban president visits Camagüey's Santa Cruz del Sur municipality

Havana, February 27 (RHC) -- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, visited the municipality of Santa Cruz del Sur, in Camagüey, on Tuesday afternoon to tour productive centers.

According to information from the PCC on the social network X, the first place visited in that territory was the Cándido González Enterprise, where the head of state and the Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Party, Roberto Morales Ojeda, talked with two sugarcane workers.

Among the short and long-term actions designed to make the company's existence sustainable based on its potential, the general director, Rolando Castro Reyes, explained to Díaz-Canel that they have proposed the diversification of production and services, according to the Presidency on the same social network.

The president also visited the farm of advanced producer Nasim Musle, from the Jesús Suárez Gayol Integral Base Business Unit, where marabú was eliminated for the planting of more than 40 hectares of beans, sweet potatoes, bananas, peppers, onions, garlic and fruit trees. (Source: ACN).
