The attacks by Israeli forces have claimed the lives of more than 30,000 people and the collapse of almost all of the coastal enclave's infrastructure

Havana, May 18 (RHC) Cubans reiterated this Friday their condemnation of the genocide perpetrated by Israel, with support from the United States, against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

During an act of solidarity organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and the Union of Young Communists (UJC), they demanded an end to the crimes of the Israeli Government, which since last October 7 have claimed lives of more than 30 thousand people.

They also evoked the Nakba, a catastrophe on May 15, 1948 when around 800,000 Palestinian civilians were expelled after the occupation of most of their lands by Israeli settlers.

The president of ICAP, Fernando González, condemned the escalation of terrorist and genocidal actions that have taken place in recent months in the occupied Palestinian territories.

For her part, the head of the Department of International Relations of the UJC, Mirtia Brossard, denounced Washington's complicity in the crimes in the coastal enclave, and reiterated the solidarity of the Cuban people. (Source: PL)
