Havana, May 3 (RHC) The seventh Meeting of Ministers and Senior Tourism Officials from the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America — the People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP) — will take place this Saturday in Havana.

The meeting will be held as part of the International Tourism Fair, FITCuba 2025, which is being held in Havana from April 30 until this Saturday.

The regional integration body announced in a statement that such meeting was preceded by another of tourism deputy ministers on Friday, which addressed ways to enhance tourism in the region.

The deputy minister of tourism in Cuba, Yamily Aldama Valdés, stated that some tour operators who are not members of ALBA-TCP have shown interest in joining, with the goal of strengthening tourism in their countries.

Aldama also noted that certain airlines will participate in the Alliance's working groups and initiatives, providing the option for regional connectivity. (Source: Telesur)
