In Rodríguez's words, the European Parliament's silence on the genocide against the Palestinian people reveals complicity and double standards

Havana, May 8 (RHC) The Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, has once again criticized the European Parliament for its lack of response to the massacre perpetrated by the Israeli government against the Palestinian people.

In his X profile, Rodríguez stated that such silence reveals complicity and double standards, and expressed concern about the potential impact of the Association Agreement between Israel and the European Union.

He also cited the words of Irene Montero, a Spanish member of the European Parliament, who defended the European Union-Cuba Cooperation Agreement signed in 2016, now being attacked by the right-wing forces.

According to Montero, the European Union lacks the authority to impose conditions on Cuba regarding human rights, as the member nations of the bloc endorse the genocide against Palestine. (Source: Radio Reloj)
