Cuban First Vice President Meets Visiting Portuguese Deputy Prime Minister

Havana, November 4 (RHC) –- Cuban First Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel held talks on Monday with Portugal's First Deputy Prime Minister Paulo Portas, who is on an official visit to Cuba.

Portas is being accompanied by a large business delegation, which is attending Havana´s International Trade Fair.

During the talks, the two government officials corroborated the favorable development of bilateral relations and they expressed their willingness in encouraging investment and business deals with Cuba, given the opportunities offered by the new Cuban foreign investment law.

The Portuguese delegation also laid a floral wreath at the monument of Cuban National Hero Jose Marti, at Havana´s Revolution Square.
