Havana, June 22 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez described the direct U.S. aggression against Iran as a criminal and irresponsible act that violates international law.

On his X account, the foreign minister denounced that this attack violates the international nuclear security system and the norms and safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Previously, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, strongly condemned the U.S. bombings against Iranian nuclear facilities, which constitute, he said, a dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.

The president denounced on social media that the attack gravely violates the UN Charter and international law and plunges humanity into a crisis with irreversible consequences.

U.S. President Donald Trump reported on his Truth Social platform that US aircraft successfully carried out attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
