Havana, April 7 (RHC) – The members of the Cuban delegation to the forums that will run parallel to the 7th Summit of the America in Panama left for that Central American nation on Tuesday.

More than one hundred Cubans will participate in the forums of Civil Society, Youth and Entrepreneurs, as well as in the Summit of the Peoples, a counter event organized by left-wing organizations.

This is the first time that Cuba takes part at a Summit of the Americas following the overwhelming support of Latin American and Caribbean nations of Cuba's inclusion.

Cuban President Raul Castro is expected to head the Cuban representation at the summit.
