Documentary series by Danny Glover & Oliver Stone

Havana, Feb. 18 (RHC)-- The documentary series ‘The War On Cuba’ was exhibited in Barcelona, Spain, on February 19th, in the framework of the 14th Cuban Film Season, organized by Mollet amb Cuba.

Executive-produced by Oliver Stone and Danny Glover, the award-winning  docu series takes an in-depth look at the economic war waged by the U.S. government on Cuba, the damage inflicted on Cuba’s economy & the everyday life of people on the island.

The intimate and incisive reporting of documentary host and journalist Liz Oliva Fernández opens viewers’ eyes to an issue that has received scant coverage by major media outlets in the United States.

Season One (episodes 1-3) shows the devastating impact of the intensification of U.S. sanctions under Trump and examines the political and electoral interests driving U.S. policy.

Season Two (episodes 4-6) investigates the mysterious health incidents reported by U.S. personnel in Havana, explores the link between Cuba’s economic crisis and its July 11 protests, and reveals the disconnect between Biden’s Cuba policy and the reality on the ground in Cuba.

The War on Cuba, which premiered on YouTube on October 9, then exposes the political and economic interests driving U.S. policy and the ways it harms Cubans on both sides of the Florida Strait.
