Films from 18 nations to be screened at Tripoli Film Festival

Beirut, April 26 (RHC)-- With the participation of 32 films from 18 countries, Tripoli will host this weekend its second session of the Lebanon International Film Festival, its organizers confirmed today.

The Tripoli Association for the Arts and the Istanbul Theater announced the program of the showcase, under the slogan "Cinema for all" and in tribute to the great local directors, George Nasser (1927-2019) and Randa Chahal Sabbag (1953-2008).

Lebanese audiences will be able to enjoy from Friday until Sunday films ranging from fiction, documentary and animation representing Syria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, France, Morocco, Algeria, Morocco, Bahrain, Iraq, Egypt, Armenia, Jordan, Yemen, Sudan, Iran, Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium and Czech Republic.

The film event will award prizes for best feature film, documentary, animated film, actor, actress and photography, as well as a jury award.
