Brussels, December 9 (RHC)-- A huge number of people turned out on Sunday in Brussels to show their support for greater political action to save the planet from the threat posed by global warming.

The activists occupied several kilometers of road surrounding the city's federal parliament building and royal palace, as they called on Belgian authorities to use their influence in Europe.

After China, the United States is the world's biggest polluter.  It is well known Donald Trump has previously called climate change a hoax.  Needless to say, at the Brussels protest he wasn't very popular.

Organizers of the protest affirmed that in 2020, a record number of climate change rallies are being planned to take place across the European Union.
