Caracas, August 17 (RHC)-- The Venezuelan Ambassador to the United Nations, Samuel Moncada, has warned of the threat of invasion looming over this country with the conspiracy of the United States, Colombia and other Central American countries.

"Washington's propaganda agencies are already promoting the invading multinational force in Venezuela.  Stabilization must be with military occupation but without the visible presence of the United States on the front line.  It is the armies of Colombia and Central America that will do the dirty work," the diplomat denounced on his Twitter account.

In another message in the microblogging, Moncada pointed out that the upper phase of the aggression against Venezuela is already underway, whose campaign of maximum pressure goes beyond economic terrorism to the military dimension.

On the digital platform, the Venezuelan ambassador to the UN showed a fragment of the Washington Examiner article, where the insinuations of Phil Gunson, of the International Crisis Group, and the head of the U.S. Southern Command, Admiral Craig Faller, about an eventual invasion of the South American nation can be seen.

According to the publication, Gunson and Faller accuse Venezuela of being a narco-state, of being the center of operations of the National Liberation Army and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, and of being the epicenter of supposed "illicit activities" of Cuba, Russia and Iran.

Meanwhile, Faller openly urges the international community to force a change of government in that nation.

"The key in the future is how we can better share intelligence and how the international community can better leverage that to force and change the behavior of Maduro and external state actors," Washington Examiner said in his remarks.
