Washington, June 14 (RHC)-- The world’s nuclear powers spent nearly $44 billion on weapons of mass destruction last year — or more than $157,000 per minute — with the United States accounting for more nuclear weapons spending than all other nations combined.

The Nobel Peace Prize-winning group found worldwide spending on nuclear weapons rose last year for the third consecutive year.
