Havana, September 10 (RHC) -– The head of the Colombian government delegation participating in peace talks, Humberto de la Calle, said that they are ready to listen to the victims of the confrontation.

He noted that the government insists on preserving the principles of balance and pluralism among the victims that participate in the talks which began in Havana in November 2012.

La Calle insisted that, either by contact with the victims or those who have sent their messages and proposals, totaling more than six thousand, they will take into account all patterns of victimization.

"We want to know the way that best leads us to reach agreements that meet their needs to be compensated. We even want to hear those that do not agree with this process", he said.

He announced that the victims arriving in Cuba will be 12: Gloria Gómez, Gabriel Bisbicus, María Choles, Teresita Gaviria, Reynel Barbosa, Esaúd Lemus, Esperanza Uribe, Marleny Orjuela, Consuelo González, Marisol Garzón, Juanita Barragán and Yéssika Hoyos.

The group is the second that participates in the issue of the rights of victims, the fourth item for discussion on the agenda.
