San José, November 12 (RHC)-- Costa Rican President Luis Guillermo Solís termed as positive his country's relations with Cuba.

The Central American leader met Friday in San José with Cuba's Ambassador Danilo Sánchez to analyze the state of implementation of bilateral cooperation agreements signed a year ago during his official visit here.

The two sides described as fruitful the exchanges held between trade delegations from the two countries, the meetings between executives and representatives from sectors like agriculture, culture, health, education, livestock and biotechnology, and other actions toward investment promotion in Cuba's tourism sector.

The Cuban ambassador took the opportunity to thank Costa Rican authorities for their support for Cuba against the U.S. blockade, specifically the speech delivered by President Solís on this issue last October 26th at the UN General Assembly.
