The main artery of San Jose witnessed the admiration for the Cuban Revolution.


 

Havana, May 1 (RHC) Solidarity with the Cuban Revolution and condemnation of the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial blockade against the Caribbean Island were present, Monday, in the May Day march in Costa Rica and Ecuador.

 

On the occasion of International Workers' Day, members of trade union centers and militants of political parties marched along the main avenue of San José, the Costa Rican capital.

 

Among the participants were members of the National Coordinator of Solidarity with Cuba in Costa Rica (CNSC-CR), carrying Cuban flags and banners.

 

For the second consecutive year, members of the different committees, movements, circles, and groups of friendship and solidarity with Cuba in that Central American country marched in a block to make even more visible the defense of the Cuban revolutionary process, and the condemnation of Washington's unilateral blockade and the media war against the island.

 

For their part, Ecuadorians in solidarity also expressed, on this day, their rejection of the criminal siege of successive U.S. administrations against the Caribbean nation.

 

During the World Proletariat Day march in Quito, the capital of Ecuador, friends of Cuba expressed their support for the Cuban revolutionary process and reiterated the international condemnation of the blockade. (Source: Prensa Latina)
