Havana, March 3 (RHC)-- David Pathe, Chief Executive Officer of Canada's Sherrit International said 'maintaining healthy ties with Cuba stands as a priority'.
During a press conference Thursday in Havana, Pathe said Cuba is an excellent country to maintain trade relations with.
The Sherritt CEO noted that the Canadian firm have been doing business with Cuba for over 20 years in the mining and energy sectors, and he described as 'mutually beneficial' the company's business relations with the Caribbean state.
Regarding the U.S. blockade of Cuba, the chief executive officer said his company and even his family have been affected by the U.S. policy.
