First Charter Flight from Russia to Cuba Arrives in Eastern Holguín Province

Holguín, December 26 (RHC)-- The first charter flight coming from Russia and operated by the company Nordwind Airlines has arrived at the Frank País International Airport in eastern Holguín province, bringing in more than 300 Russian tourists.

With the new route, the Russian tour operator Pegas Touristik has realized its project to diversify its destinations to include the eastern Cuban region. 

The airliner has plans to operate a round trip flight every ten days until October 2018.

Yadismir Saavedra Pérez, director of the Cuban travel agency Cubanacán field office in the eastern region, said the main goal now is to ensure customer's satisfaction toward guaranteeing the stability of the new market.
