Cuba attends IAEA General Conference

The Cuban delegation is headed by the Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, José Fidel Santana Núñez.

Vienna, September 17 (RHC)-- Cuba is attending the 68th ordinary session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, running through 20 September at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna, Austria.

The Cuban delegation is headed by the Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, José Fidel Santana Núñez, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

A Scientific Forum on issues related to nuclear science and technology is periodically organized in parallel to the General Conference.

On this occasion, Cuba will also be participating in the Forum entitled "A Decade of Action on Cancer Control and the Way Forward."
