Cuban delegation arrives at IAEA conference in Vienna

Vienna, September 17 (RHC)-- Cuban Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) José Fidel Santana arrived in Vienna on Monday to attend the 62nd Ordinary Session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The delegation headed by Santana is also made up by Ambassador Juan Antonio Fernández, permanent representative before the International Organizations based in Vienna; officials of CITMA, of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the Permanent Mission in Austria.  The meeting will end on Friday.

As every year, the General Conference, its most democratic and representative body, brings together high-level officials, government experts and representatives of all Member States for budgetary matters and related to the mandate of the Agency.
