Cuba reports 923 new COVID-198 cases, five deaths

Havana, February 18 (RHC)-- Cuba confirmed at the end of Wednesday 923 new cases of COVID-19, five deaths, and 928 medical discharges, informed Dr. Francisco Durán García, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health.

Speaking on national television, Dr. Duran said that 18,611 patients were admitted by midnight of which 2,830 are suspected, 10,683 are under surveillance and 5,098 are confirmed.

Havana reported 461 cases on Wednesday. Santiago de Cuba followed with 117, and Pinar del Rio 87 cases.
