Cuba reports 1004 of Covid-19 in Cuba and four deaths

 Havana, Apr 15 (RHC)--Cuban health authorities reported on Thursday 1004 new cases of Covid-19 and four deaths in the last 24 hours.

With these figures, the Caribbean country accumulates 90,408 diagnosed with the disease and 491 deaths since March 2020, said the national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, in a televised briefing.

He said 4,740 active patients were hospitalized by midnight.

The island's 25 molecular biology laboratories analyzed 20,672 real-time PCRs for the detection of the coronavirus.

Havana reported 507 cases. It was followed by Matanzas with 92, and Santiago de Cuba with 88. All of the island’s 15  provinces reported cases.
