Cuba

Havana, July 26 (RHC)-- Cuba reminded Washington on Monday that the world has overwhelmingly rejected its behavior towards the island at the United Nations.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez offered a prompt rebuke to Secretary of State Antony Blinken´s announced joint declaration this Monday based on the support of a handful of countries pressured to abide by the US´ dictates.

“Cuba has the support of 184 nations that demand the elimination of the blockade, ” wrote Bruno Rodriguez on Twitter, who also urged the US government to present evidence proving its defamatory accusations against the island.

This July 26, Secretary of State Blinken issued a statement reiterating bogus accusations of human rights abuses by the Cuban government during the unrests of last July 11.

Joining the anti-Cuban text were 20 countries, with Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Honduras among them.
