Havana, July 27 (RHC)— The Cuban people and authorities received messages of congratulation and support on the occasion of the National Rebellion Day, this July 26.

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Bolivian President Luis Arce, and former Andean nation President Evo Morales congratulated the Cuban people and government on the 68th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.

The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America Peoples-Free Trade Agreement ALBA-TCP wrote on his Twitter social network page that July 26, 1953, is a transcendental milestone in the history of Latin America and the Caribbean.

In Damascus, Syrians, Cubans, and Palestinians ratified their solidarity and support to the island amidst the destabilization attempts by the United States.

In Colombia, the movement of solidarity with Cuba proposed that July 26 be declared by the peoples of our America as the day of continental rebellion.

The movement expressed its fraternal embrace and solidarity with the brotherly people of Cuba on this glorious 68th anniversary of the day of national rebellion.

In Italy, an enthusiastic crowd expressed in Rome its support to the Cuban government and people in the face of the intensification of the US aggressive policies against the island.

Hundreds of Italians and Cubans from a wide spectrum of political and social organizations gathered in the central Santa Prisca Square. They marched to the Cuban embassy, where the memorable demonstration culminated.
