Delegation of Italian Friendship Association traveled to Cuba

Rome, December 6 (RHC)-- A delegation of the Italian-Cuban National Friendship Association Italy-Cuba (ANAIC) traveled to Cuba for a 10-day visit, invited by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).

The president of the organization, Marco Papacci, heads the group. It also includes Enzo Pescatori and Ottavio Perini, members of the National Secretariat and the College of Guarantee, respectively.

During the stay in the Caribbean nation, the group will develop an intense program of activities in the political, cultural, scientific, and sports fields, which will include meetings with representatives of the Communist Party of Cuba, the government of the city of Havana, hospitals, and writers, said a statement.

The ANAIC delegation will have a meeting with the Italian ambassador to Cuba, Roberto Vellano, will examine the progress of solidarity projects with the island, discuss new ones, and visit the Fidel Castro Cruz Center, the Che Guevara Study Center, and other institutions.
