Cienfuegos, July 26 (RHC) Members of the 32nd Pastors for Peace Caravan, the Juan Rius Rivera and Venceremos Brigades and the Socialism and Liberation Party accompanied the Cuban people this Tuesday on National Rebellion Day.

The province of Cienfuegos hosted the 69th anniversary of the Assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, actions carried out in 1953 by young people and led by the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, which were aimed at overthrowing dictator Fulgencio Batista.

Scientists and doctors of the Cuban nation, who fought the Covid-19 pandemic, accompanied the more than 10 thousand people in the square of the city known as "the pearl of the south".

The people's capacity for creative resistance stands out in the achievements shown by the province, as well as the work in vulnerable neighborhoods and the more than 600 construction works that are being carried out, despite the impact of the U.S. blockade.
