Havana, August 12 (RHC)-- An in-depth report presented Friday on a national television prime time newscast denounced acts of vandalism in Cuba by terrorists based abroad.

The denunciation pointed out that while the country was trying to extinguish a great fire at the Supertankers base in Matanzas, unscrupulous elements were calling for disorder and violence on the island.

According to the report, they appealed to the formula of calling for vandalism from hate platforms. When these were committed, despite their little real impact, they had a high media repercussion on social networks.

The report presented the fire with a Molotov cocktail in a store in the municipality of Diez de Octubre in Havana,  which was confronted by the population. Those responsible were arrested in less than an hour by the population authorities.

The report affirmed that information and evidence connect people based in Cuba with terrorists from abroad, who finance and coordinate violent actions.

The investigation highlighted the support of the people in defense of the homeland and of one of the Revolution's main conquests: the citizens' tranquility.
