Cuba denounces destabilization attempts and acts of vandalism

Havana, October 14 (RHC)-- Cuba denounced Friday destabilization maneuvers and acts of vandalism that occurred in several municipalities in the country.

A national television report showed the work carried out by "digital terrorists" to distort a photo of weapons that enemies of the Cuban Revolution wanted to introduce into the country.

Likewise, in the municipality of Minas de Matahambre, in the province of Pinar del Río, actions took place that included public posters against the national policy, in exchange for 100 US dollars.

One of the protagonists assured that he set fires in social institutions and that those who offered the payment demanded that he set fire to other public works such as warehouses.

Meanwhile, the material author of the Caney de Isabela de Sagua fire, in Villa Clara province, narrated how he carried out the deed.

"I set fire to the guano and then I ran," he confessed.   He confirmed that he gave the remuneration for his act to the police.

In the television broadcast he offered advice to young people, to whom he indicated that "money is not everything in life".

Both cases are evidence of the actions of individuals who plan to sow terror in the country, in exchange for small sums of money.
