Havana, Nov 10 (RHC) Cuba's Minister of Science, Technology, and Environment (Citma), Elba Rosa Perez, said Thursday in the Egyptian resort of Sharm El Sheikh that mitigation efforts should not generate additional burdens and responsibilities for developing countries.

 

In her Twitter account, the official, who is participating in the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27), said that it is necessary to identify technologies and partnerships, instead of imposing rules and conditions.

 

With the segment of world leaders concluded, negotiations continue on the program for ambitious mitigation and reform of the financial system.
