Havana International Fair

Havana, Nov 15 (RHC) The V Investment Forum, one of the main activities of the XXXVIII Havana International Fair (FIHAV 2022), will be held from today until tomorrow at the Expocuba venue.

The space includes four panels: one dedicated to the Mariel Special Development Zone, another one to the exchange with promotion centers and agencies, a third one referred to the Single Window for Foreign Investment and the facilities in the procedures, and the fourth one will deal with the opportunities to invest in the island for Cubans living abroad.

According to the event's Organizing Committee, the forum represents an excellent opportunity to hold bilateral meetings between Cuban and foreign entrepreneurs, as well as to share ideas on the challenges faced by Cuba in attracting investments.

To ensure greater participation of entities and entrepreneurs, the event will be also held virtually, which is why the organizers of FIHAV 2022 recently invited interested parties to apply for registration.

As part of today's event, there will be celebrations of the national days of Canada, Portugal, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, Venezuela, and Argentina, in addition to a panel on the experiences of Mexican companies in Cuba.

The 38th Havana International Fair began on Monday at the Expocuba fairgrounds in Havana, with a representation of 62 countries, and the opening day was attended by Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Republic, and Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister.

FIHAV has been held since 1983, and after the cancellation of the editions corresponding to 2020 and 2021, it recovers its space thanks to the control of COVID-19 transmission in the country, so it is ratified as a business platform for new companies in the Cuban market and those already established (Source: ACN).
