Cuba and Peru

Havana, Nov 30 (RHC) The first round of talks on migration issues between Cuba and Peru took place this Wednesday in a virtual format.

 

Ambassador Maria Antonia Masana, director general of Peruvian Communications Abroad and Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry led the delegation of the South American country.

 

According to the information, the Cuban side was chaired by Ernesto Soberon, general director of Consular Affairs and Attention to Cubans Living Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

 

During the bilateral meeting, the participants evaluated the state of the flow of travelers, to promote and coordinate joint actions.

 

The initiatives aimed to dissuade illegal acts associated with irregular migration and, consequently, contribute to the achievement of a safe, regular and orderly migratory flow. (Source: PL)
