IV Round of Talks on Migratory Issues between Cuba and Colombia

Havana, Nov 22 (RHC) The IV Round of Talks on Migratory Issues between Cuba and Colombia will be held today in this capital, informed the Foreign Ministry of the Caribbean nation.

The Colombian delegation will be headed by Fulvia Elvira Benavides Cotes, director of Migratory, Consular, and Citizen Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Cuban delegation will be headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Elio Rodríguez Perdomo.

The meeting, which will allow the resumption of the dialogue mechanism on migratory and consular matters, will examine the implementation of joint actions to guarantee a safe, regular and orderly migratory flow, and to discourage illegal acts associated with irregular migration, according to the Foreign Ministry's press release.
