Eurasian Economic Union Summit

Havana, Dec 8 (RHC) The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel will participate in the summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), via teleconference, said the advisor to the Russian presidency, Yuri Ushakov.

 

The official pointed out that the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan and the Cuban president will be invited to the meeting to be held on December 9, in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

 

The presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, and the Prime Minister of Armenia will participate in the summit.

 

The summit will discuss the activities of the Eurasian Economic Union and the deepening of integration.

 

In addition, the participants will discuss the elimination of obstacles in the Union's internal market, the functioning and development of a single market of services, and the promotion and financing of industrial projects. (Source: Radio Reloj)
