Five Resolutions, published in the Official Gazette, contain the results of the selection and awarding process, developed by the Central Commission and approved by the head of the sector, Dr. Elba Rosa Pérez Montoya.

Other awards aim to highlight projects of great relevance in the categories of science, environment, integration, and economic impact.

The Citma Special Award for the greatest environmental relevance went to 'Contributions of the National Botanical Garden in the studies on systematics and taxonomy in Cuba’s flora'. (Source: Radio Reloj)
