Cuban Foreign Ministry regrets death of prominent diplomat

Havana, March 21 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minrex) regretted this Tuesday the death of ambassador Rosario Navas Morata, who dedicated 40 years to the foreign service of the Caribbean country.

Through its Twitter account, the Foreign Ministry expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the diplomat.

Graduated from Political Science and Law, Navas Morata joined the Ministry of Education in January 1973, where she held different responsibilities such as the presidency of the Cuban National Commission of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

She was ambassador in Spain, Poland, Sweden, the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union. During her four decades at the service of revolutionary diplomacy, she also served as director of multilateral affairs at the Minrex. (Source: Prensa Latina)
