Cuba expresses condolences to victims of tornadoes in the United States

Cuba laments destruction by storm system in US

 

Havana, Apr 3 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez lamented today the loss of human lives and the destruction caused by the storm system that is hitting the United States.

On his Twitter profile, the highest representative of Cuban diplomacy pointed out that these climatic events generated dissimilar tornadoes in more than a dozen states in the northern nation.

Rodríguez conveyed condolences to the families of the victims and wishes for a speedy recovery to the victims.

At least 32 people have died so far victims of the tornadoes that affected 11 states in the south and the north-central United States, including Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Ohio, and it is feared that the report of fatalities increases with the passing of the hours.

According to various media outlets, the dead include at least nine in a Tennessee county, four in the small town of Wynne (Arkansas), three in Sullivan (Indiana) and four in Illinois. (Source: Prensa Latina)
