Ninth Intercontinental Convention of Psychology concludes today in Cuba

Havana, Apr 28 (RHC) - The 9th Intercontinental Convention Hominis Psychology 2023 concludes today in Havana after four days of debates focused on collective well-being.

Under the premise of "Living Psychology at the service of its peoples", the event brought together professionals from this area and other related ones, in face-to-face and virtual format.

The event, organized by the Cuban Society of Psychology and with work sessions at the Havana Libre hotel in the capital, represented an opportunity to learn about the strengths and struggles of this specialty in Cuba.

Hominis 2023 offered a platform for courses, conferences, works in different modalities and work meetings for students and professionals from more than 23 countries. After a five-year pause due to Covid-19, the meeting also focused on the enormous and urgent challenges this pandemic has set for psychology.

The convention discussions also delved into acute and difficult issues of the professional and scientific practice of psychology and of today's society. (Source: Prensa Latina)
