Havana, October 13 (Web Network)-- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel thanked this Friday his Mexican counterpart, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) for his consistent support to our people in their struggle against the U.S. blockade.

In his account on the social network X, the dignitary also acknowledged AMLO's coherent stance against unilateral coercive measures that seek to starve the people into submission".

During his morning press conference, AMLO once again expressed his rejection of Washington's unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela and the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the largest Antillean island for more than six decades.

"These are acts of interference that affect the peoples", emphasized the Mexican head of state.

Likewise, he denounced that certain sectors maintain restrictive measures to take economic and political advantage, and gave as an example Washington's blockade against Cuba.
