The head of International Relations of La Francia Insumisa described the US blockade of Cuba as immoral

Havana, Nov 4 (RHC) The head of International Relations of La Francia Insumisa (LFI), Christian Rodríguez, today called the US blockade on Cuba immoral and celebrated the rejection ratified this week at the UN of that policy.

Rodríguez highlighted that almost all of the member states of the United Nations voted once again in the General Assembly, in New York, for the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade in force for more than 60 years.

On Thursday, the main deliberative body of the UN adopted by 187 votes in favor, one abstention and two against (the United States and Israel) a new resolution on the need to end the blockade, the thirty-first text of its type approved since 1992 in the multilateral entity.

According to the head of International Relations at LFI, it is urgent that the international community never accept that the siege imposed by Washington on Cuba be assumed as something normal. He defended the right of the Cuban people to live in dignity, sovereignty and independence. (Source: PL)
