Dubai, December 2 (RHC) --Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel said Saturday that the report recently published by the United States on terrorism contains insulting lies about his country and is another pretext to maintain the genocidal blockade.

Through his account on the social network X, the head of state said that the authors of the text "lie and they know it", by maintaining slanderous references about the position of the Caribbean nation towards that scourge.

The president, who is on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, shared on the platform the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that ratifies Cuba's commitment against all terrorist acts, methods and practices, in all their forms and manifestations.

The text points out that U.S. government authorities have enough information to confirm the firm and clean commitment of the Caribbean nation in the fight against this scourge.

The island, the Foreign Ministry affirmed, will maintain its efforts in the fight against terrorism, of which it has been a victim, at the cost of 3,478 deaths and 2,99 disabled.

According to the statement, all these victims are the consequence of "actions organized, financed and perpetrated fundamentally from the territory of the United States by individuals and organizations that operate there with the tolerance, complicity and protection of the government of that country".
