Cuba receives congratulatory messages on the anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution

Havana, January 1 (RHC) -- From different parts of the world the Cuban government and people continue to receive congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro sent a warm embrace of congratulations "to the brother" people and government of Cuba, on the occasion of the anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

On the social network X, formerly Twitter, the head of state stressed that the Revolution in the largest of the Antilles "swept away the dictatorship, becoming a universal reference of dignity, struggle and anti-imperialist resistance".

For its part, a communiqué from the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses "its gratitude to the Government of Cuba for so much solidarity in the face of the challenges we have faced" to overcome the current multiform and asymmetrical war imposed by imperialism.

The State Affairs Chairman of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Kim Jong Un, today congratulated his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, on the occasion.

The also general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) stressed the great significance of "forging the destiny of the Cuban people and the development of revolutionary movements in Latin America.

The DPRK president stressed that this victory was won at the cost of the blood of the Cuban patriots, who "bravely thwarted the brutal and tenacious challenges of the hostile forces".

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, in a letter to the Cuban Prime Minister, highlighted the historic event that led a "freedom-loving" people to a victory that placed "in the foreground the principles of social equality, justice and humanism".

Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyóyev also sent a congratulatory card to Díaz-Canel on the occasion of the New Year, in which he also expressed that the relations of cooperation between the two states will continue to develop in the future "also on behalf of the interests of our peoples".
