Addis Ababa, July 16 (RHC)-- During the Third International Conference on Financing for Development, taking place in Addis Ababa, Cuba has pointed to the historical responsibility and moral duty of the industrialized countries toward the sustainable development of the nations of the South.

Speaking at the event, the Deputy Director General of Multilateral Affairs and International Law at the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Pedro Luis Pedroso, emphasized that the North must increase investment and cooperation with the poorest and most vulnerable countries and must also foster a global stage that can accelerate human progress.

The meeting concludes today in the Ethiopian capital with the presence of top politicians from Southern countries who adopted an international agreement to finance a sustainable development agenda for post-2015.
