Buenos Aires, September 12 (RHC)-- Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez is expected to travel to Cuba next week to meet with Pope Francis, who will pay a three-day visit to the island.

Argentina's La Nacion newspaper says that according to official sources, the Argentinian president will meet the Pope in Havana, before the Holy Father travels to the United States for a six-day visit.

The newspaper explains that Cristina has met with the Pope on six previous occasions -- the first was one day before Jorge Bergoglio became Pope and the latest on July 12th, this year.
