Cuban Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas Receives Australian Government's Special Envoy for Trade

Havana, February 26 (RHC)-- Cuban Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas held talks Thursday afternoon in Havana with Andrew Robb, Special Envoy for Trade for the Government of Australia, who is visiting the Caribbean state.

The two sides reviewed prospects for trade, investment and cooperation relations, based on existing potentials.

Accompanying the visitor was David Engel, Ambassador of Australia to Havana, as well as other members of his delegation. Cuba was represented at the meeting by the Vice-president of the Central Bank of Cuba, Arnaldo Alayo, and Yamila Fernandez del Busto, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment, among other officials.

Also on Thursday, the Australian delegation visited the Special Development Zone at Mariel, where they learned about the investment opportunities offered to foreign entrepreneurs.
